Add practice with an answer key

Use automatic checks for questions with a clear key. Keep interpretation and open-ended work in your review.

Open Homework

Tutors assigning short practice with a definite expected answer.

What to do

  1. Write a clear question

In the homework editor, add an exercise and choose a supported answer type. Give enough context for one defensible expected answer. Use the ordinary assignment instructions and attachments for longer, open-ended work.

  2. Set the expected answer

Enter the key and any explanation. For text answers, check the case-sensitivity setting. For numbers and pairs, follow the form’s format hint. Equivalent wording is not automatically judged as equivalent meaning.

  3. Preview before assigning

Try a correct answer and a plausible wrong answer in the exercise preview. Check the feedback and the numeric format you selected. Correct the key before assigning the work.

  4. Reuse your own material

Save a set to your own exercise library and add a copy to another assignment. MomentDesk does not include the Russian curriculum exercise catalog.

  5. Review the attempts

Read the learner’s work and check history. If a valid answer was rejected, use the tutor’s review controls and explain the decision. A checked exercise does not automatically replace your overall review or grade.
