Keep a learning plan for a student

A plan keeps the goal visible while leaving room to change the next lesson.

What to do

  1. Start from the learner

Open the student’s learning area and create a plan. Give it a title and a practical goal. Start with your own content; Russian exam-plan templates are not part of MomentDesk.

  2. Break the goal into topics

Add topics, a target date when useful, an estimated lesson count and a criterion for success. A criterion such as ‘confirm a meeting time and place without help’ is easier to revisit than ‘finish grammar’.

  3. Connect actual work

Link relevant lessons, homework and materials to a topic. Update its status as teaching progresses; a planned topic does not by itself prove the learner has mastered it.

  4. Choose who sees it

Review the visibility settings for the plan and its topics. Keep preparation private, or share appropriate parts with the learner. Check the learner view before relying on a shared plan.

  5. Adapt and reuse

Revise the next topics when the learner needs a different route. A copied plan starts as a separate private plan; linked lesson dates and completed work are not a record of progress for another learner.
