Cancel a lesson with or without a charge
A cancellation is a result, not a deletion. It keeps the slot in your history and settles the money question.
Tutors recording a lesson that did not happen.

What you end up with
The lesson's status explains what happened and whether anything is owed.
What to do
Open the lesson
Choose the lesson in Schedule, then Cancel.
Choose whether it is charged
Read the dialog before confirming. A cancellation without a charge leaves nothing due; a charged cancellation keeps the lesson price due. In a series, this cancels one lesson; change the recurrence rule separately.
Use No-show when the student did not come
No-show is a separate result from a cancellation. Use it once the start time has arrived and the student has not attended; check the amount before confirming.
Check the account afterwards
Open Payments → Accounts to see what the result did to the student's balance. Cancelling never moves money by itself.
Good to know
- Statuses read Cancelled without charge, Cancelled with charge and No-show, so a later reader can tell them apart.
- Agree charged cancellations with the student in advance; MomentDesk records the decision, it does not make it.
