Tutor guide

Check your MomentDesk subscription

Understand checkout status, manage subscription billing and find the right reference for support.

Open subscription settings

Sign in as a tutor and open Settings → Plan and billing. This page concerns your subscription to MomentDesk. Payments for lessons and students’ lesson packages are separate.

Paid checkout is currently being configured. Your free trial and Free access work independently of it. The payment sections below explain the process once paid subscriptions open.

If the page says subscriptions are being prepared, you cannot start a payment yet. Your trial or free access and its limits still appear on the page.

Trial, free access and limits

Your first 30 days start at registration, with no card required: up to 30 active students and 2 GiB of library and board files. The page shows the exact end date in your profile’s time zone. Signing in again, changing your time zone or returning from checkout does not restart this trial.

After the trial, the free plan includes 5 active students and 500 MiB of library and board files. Use Choose students to select the students you continue teaching. Others become read-only; their records and your exports remain available. No student is automatically archived or deleted. If you are above the storage limit, existing files remain available, but you must remove files or upgrade before adding more.

Monthly Premium is planned at 15 USD plus applicable tax, with 30 active students and 2 GiB of library and board files. Students and parents do not pay a MomentDesk subscription. Paid access becomes available only when Polar confirms an active subscription for the current period. A checkout confirmation by itself does not unlock it.

Continue to checkout

When new subscriptions are available, Continue to checkout opens Polar. Review the price, billing period, taxes and payment details there before confirming a payment. The MomentDesk button itself does not enter card details or confirm a charge.

If you already have an unfinished checkout, MomentDesk checks that attempt instead of creating another one. Its reference remains visible after you return or reload the page.

Manage an existing subscription

Use Manage billing to open your Polar billing portal. You can review billing information and manage an existing subscription even when MomentDesk has paused new sales.

A scheduled cancellation shows its date in your profile’s time zone. It normally takes effect at the end of the subscription period. Check the status after returning from the portal; a checkout return page alone does not establish the current subscription state.

Ask about a refund

Contact hello@momentdesk.com with your checkout reference and a description of the issue. Do not include card details or passwords.

A refund request is not a completed refund. Returning money and ending a Polar subscription are separate actions: a refund does not itself cancel the subscription. Confirm both outcomes when both are requested. Applicable terms will be shown with the available offer; this help page does not promise a refund policy or processing deadline.

Recognize a test environment

The page explicitly labels a sandbox as a test environment. A successful sandbox checkout does not demonstrate a real charge, refund or payout.

The MomentDesk help center covers the rest of the tutor workspace, from adding a student to recording payments.
